In Colombia, many successful people exist who help in the growth of the Colombian Economy. Julio Mario SantoDomingo is a Colombian Businessman listed by Forbes magazine as one of the wealthiest men in Colombia with a fortune of 7 billion dollars. He with his fortune has helped Universities, hospitals and foundations. If all rich and power Colombian people join together Colombia could be a different country and their economy could be the most stronger in Latin America.

Firstly, Julio Mario with his majority stake of “Grupo Bavaria” and holding company “Valores de Bavaria” he controls more than 100 companies. In 2006, Bavaria S.A. was merged with South Africa Company SABMiller. With this he acquired the 15.1 % of SAB MILLER, becoming the second shareholder of the second largest beverage company around the world.

On the other hand, Julio Mario SantoDomingo said that, “the education is the most important thing in the growth of the competitivity of the new generations. For this reason, 24.000 millions dollars was donated by Julio Mario SantoDomingo to the most important Colombian Universities where his objectivity is the improvement of scholarship program in the universities. However Julio Mario SantoDomingo doesn’t have a own foundation. With his fortune he could open one where he could helps many poor people around Colombia in special Chocó the poorest place in this country.
